About SlipBets
SlipBets publishes sports picks with odds and a stake in units, keeps a public record of how every pick was graded, and gives bettors free tools to track their own bets.
What SlipBets is
SlipBets is a sports picks and bankroll tracking service run by the SlipBets Team. It covers the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, soccer, tennis and UFC.
SlipBets is not a sportsbook. It does not take bets, place bets for anyone or hold money for betting. Any bet you place is your own decision, made with a licensed bookmaker of your choice.
How picks are published
Every pick is published with the event, the market, the selection, the decimal odds and a stake in units. Stakes usually range from 0.5u to 3u, and a unit is a fixed share of a bankroll, so the record means the same thing whatever a unit is worth to you.
Members see every pick as it is published. Everyone can see one free pick a day, and every pick joins the public record once it is graded.
How the written analysis is made
Many picks come with a short write-up: the reasoning, the key facts and the main risk. These write-ups are generated with AI from recent news reports, are labelled as written by AI, and list the sources they are based on. They explain a pick; they are not a guarantee of the result.
The public record
Graded picks, wins and losses alike, appear on the track record and results pages. Profit, win rate and ROI are calculated with the published methodology.
The record has limits, and the methodology page sets them out: a displayed date is not independent proof of when a pick was published, and the record is not an independent audit.
Free tools
SlipBets also offers free calculators for expected value, the Kelly criterion, closing line value and unit size, and a bankroll tracker for logging your own bets in units.
