SlipBets
Refund & Cancellation Policy
How cancelling a SlipBets subscription works, when refunds are available, and the statutory rights that always apply.
1. Summary
Overview- You can cancel online at any time in Account → Subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for and are not charged again.
- Payments are non-refundable after access has begun except where a refund, withdrawal right, consumer guarantee, or other remedy is required by applicable law.
- EU/EEA consumers can withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days (section 4). UK consumers can cancel a new subscription within 14 days (section 5). In both cases you pay only for what was provided before you withdrew or cancelled.
- Duplicate charges and confirmed billing errors are always refunded.
- Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights. Where the law gives you a right to a refund or another remedy, that right applies.
2. Our General Policy
Digital ServicesSlipBets subscriptions give immediate, continuous access to digital services: picks and analysis that are updated over time, member tools and private member channels.
Payments are non-refundable after access has begun except where a refund, withdrawal right, consumer guarantee, or other remedy is required by applicable law.
This general policy never limits rights or remedies that the law gives you and that cannot be excluded. The rest of this policy explains the main cases where a refund or reimbursement is available.
3. Cancelling Your Subscription
CancellationGo to Account → Subscription and select Cancel Subscription, then confirm. You do not need to contact us, and cancelling is available online, in the same place where you subscribed.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period, and the page shows the date access ends. You will not be charged again and you will receive a confirmation email. You can resume before that date if you change your mind.
Cancelling does not create an automatic, prorated refund for the unused part of the current period, except where the law requires one (for example under sections 4 to 8).
Weekly plans renew every week until you cancel; cancelling stops the next weekly renewal.
Cancelling your subscription is not the same as withdrawing from the contract (sections 4 and 5): withdrawal ends the contract straight away and can lead to a reimbursement.
4. Right of Withdrawal (EU/EEA Consumers)
EU/EEA · 14 DaysIf you are a consumer in the EU or the EEA, you can withdraw from a new subscription contract within 14 days of the day you entered into it, without giving any reason.
At checkout you expressly ask us to start the service immediately. That does not take away your right of withdrawal. If you withdraw, you pay an amount in proportion to what was provided before you told us, compared with everything the contract covers, and we reimburse the rest of what you paid. The amount is based on the price you agreed to; where valuable content was already provided to you in full before you withdrew, its value may be taken into account as the law allows. We tell you the amount and how we worked it out. If you did not expressly ask for the service to start immediately, you pay nothing for the withdrawal period.
The right ends once the service has been fully provided, for example when a one-day pass has ended.
How to withdraw: use "Withdraw from contract here" (in the site footer, on your subscription page and in your receipt email). Fill in or confirm your name, the subscription and the email for our confirmation, then select "Confirm withdrawal". You can also send us a clear statement by email, for example: "I hereby withdraw from my contract for the SlipBets [plan] subscription concluded on [date]. [Name], [account email], [date]". Sending it within the 14 days is enough.
We send you an acknowledgement by email straight away, with what you submitted and the date and time we received it. The subscription ends when we receive your withdrawal and it will not renew. We reimburse what is due within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, to the payment method you used, without any fee.
5. Right to Cancel (UK Consumers)
UK · 14 DaysIf you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you can cancel a new subscription contract within 14 days of the day you entered into it, without giving any reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
At checkout you expressly ask us to start the service immediately. We do not ask UK customers to give up the right to cancel. If you cancel in the 14 days, you pay for what was supplied before you told us, in proportion to the full contract and based on the price you agreed to (or the market value of what was supplied, if that price is excessive), and we refund the rest. If you did not expressly ask for the service to start immediately, you pay nothing for that period.
The right ends once the service has been fully provided, for example when a one-day pass has ended.
You can cancel with the same "Withdraw from contract here" link or by email. We confirm receipt by email straight away, end the subscription, tell you the amount and how we worked it out, and refund what is due within 14 days of receiving your cancellation, to the payment method you used.
6. Duplicate Charges & Billing Errors
Billing ErrorsIf you were charged twice for the same period, charged after you had cancelled, charged the wrong amount, or charged because of another error on our side, tell us and we will refund the incorrect amount in full once we have confirmed the error.
7. Faulty or Not-as-Described Services
Statutory RemediesIf the service is not provided as described (for example, paid features you are entitled to are unavailable for a significant time), you have the remedies your consumer law provides, such as having the problem fixed, a price reduction, ending the contract, or a refund. Please contact us so we can put it right.
Picks that lose do not make the service faulty: predictions are uncertain and the service does not promise winning results.
8. Australia
Australian Consumer LawOur services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.
9. New Zealand, Canada, the United States & Switzerland
Other MarketsNew Zealand: you have the guarantees in the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the protections of the Fair Trading Act 1986, which this policy does not limit.
Canada: you have the rights given by the consumer protection law of your province or territory (for example, Quebec's Consumer Protection Act for distance contracts and services provided at a distance). Where that law gives you a right to cancel or to a refund, it applies.
United States: you can cancel online at any time as described in section 3, and you keep any refund or cancellation rights given by federal law or the law of your state.
Switzerland: Swiss law does not provide a general right of withdrawal for online purchases. This policy applies, including cancellation at any time and refunds of duplicate charges and billing errors, together with any rights Swiss law gives you.
10. How to Request a Refund
RequestsEmail info@slipbets.com from the email address of your account with your name, the date and amount of the charge (or the reference from your receipt) and the reason. For an EU/EEA withdrawal or a UK cancellation in the first 14 days (sections 4 and 5), use "Withdraw from contract here" instead.
We aim to reply within 5 business days. We will tell you whether a refund is due and, if it is, the amount and how it will be paid.
11. How Refunds Are Paid
ProcessingRefunds are paid to the original payment method through our payment provider (Whop, or Stripe for older subscriptions). Once we issue a refund, it usually appears on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, but the exact timing depends on your bank or card issuer and is outside our control.
Refunds are made in the currency you paid in. Your bank may apply its own exchange rate or fees, which we do not control.
12. Chargebacks
DisputesIf you think a charge is wrong, please contact us first: most billing problems can be fixed quickly and a chargeback is usually slower for you. This does not take away your right to dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer. While a chargeback is open, access to the disputed subscription may be paused.
13. Changes to This Policy
UpdatesWe may update this policy. The version and its effective date are shown at the top of this page, and the version in force when you subscribed is recorded with your purchase. Changes never reduce your statutory rights.
